Velociraptor - Project Workflow and Tracking

We were recently commissioned to develop an internal workflow and project tracking solution for Monroe Digital Copy Center. Our solution, code named Raptor, is a fully featured web-based product designed for agile data-entry and order processing procedures. We developed many awesome features to accompany this solution, including:

• A completely custom database engine.
• Rapid search capabilities.
• Windowd pages in a web environment.
• Customized Quickbooks integration.

Our customized database model provided us the capability to store every order directly in memory. This methodology allows us to achieve instantaneous search speeds, incredibly quick data entry, and specific data architecture. Utilizing the base in-memory framework, we were able to focus entirely on our clients primary tenant of data entry speeds without constraining ourselves to a large overhead solution.

Using windowed pages in a web-based environment provides increased accessibility of data while streamlining deployment and maintenance. The web paradigm allows for a single server to act as the “heavy lifter” while the interfaces that use our software are lightweight and have no pre-requisites. The result is a very performant solution that is both easy to install and maintain.

Custom Quickbooks integration allows our client to easily utilize our software with their existing billing procedures, which made the entire process much more streamlined.
