Towards the beginning of the Windows Phone 7 release, I wanted to develop a game framework that would allow me to rapidly prototype ideas using the XNA engine. Quantum jump was my initial attempt, allowing me the opportunity to streamline development and create the basic engine which would eventually be used with GeoMind.
Quantum Jump is a relatively simple “jumper” game. The gameplay is fairly straightforward – you operate an alien character who is jumping on platforms in space! You can increase your score by collecting power ups. The background includes a dynamic image with random space elements which changes the higher up you get.
